A home, not a facility.

We're David and Valerie — married, and honestly never far from family or the family business growing up. Between the two of us, we spent years in and around our families' homes and companies, picking up the little things nobody teaches you outright: how to really take care of a place, and the people in it.

A lot of that came from just being there — sitting with residents, learning their routines, noticing what made a day good instead of just fine. Those years taught us that care isn't really about a checklist. It's about paying attention.

After all that time helping build something that belonged to someone else, we knew it was time to build our own. Open Arms is that — our own place, made with the same care we grew up around, just under our own roof this time. We're not looking to run a big operation. We just wanted somewhere small enough that we could actually know the people living here, and treat them like family, because that's genuinely how we see it.

Open Arms offers six private rooms, each thoughtfully designed with its own private bathroom and walk-in closet for personal belongings. Residents also share a warm, inviting living room and dining area — providing comfortable spaces to connect and enjoy company, while still having the privacy and personal space they value.
